I have decided to concentrate on the following: “The fundamental problem is that garments are being made too cheaply, and even those that are robust are not being used for their potential life spans because the fast-fashion industry by definition sells newness”. This clearly underlines the main problem of this industry – and is not the only one! Everything is about selling and buying and, unfortunately, most of the people are weak and fall into this trap, of having the newest cloth, newest phone! If we stop buying, the industry will have to re-adjust to the new demand, thus limiting the waste its producing. • Do you own any articles of clothing made from recycled materials?
